About ATPA

Statewide Support for Our Providers

The Addiction Treatment Providers Association (ATPA) is the only statewide association representing the needs and concerns of NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) licensed proprietary substance abuse providers.  We work closely with OASAS in developing programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.  ATPA collaborates with OASAS and local communities to ensure that the drug and alcohol treatment needs of New York residents are met in the most cost effective level of care appropriate to the individual’s clinical needs.

ATPA was formed in 2005 to develop a unified voice for proprietary providers to engage in discussions with regulatory agencies so that our issues can be addressed during the development of decisions and prior to enactment and promulgation of regulations. In addition, we are advocates for our field by working to increase public awareness throughout the state of our efforts.

ATPA’s Board members represent several providers throughout the metropolitan area, which include: Bridge Back to Life, Cornerstone Treatment Facilities Network, Liberty Behavioral Management and the The PAC Program.
